Welcome to The Writers’ Block.  This blog will document the development of our 25 acre block into a writers’ retreat.

Currently it is a heavily treed block with no amenities located north of Mudgee in the wine district.  The block itself is quite remote, no distractions apart from the native birds, the odd kangaroo hopping past and the wind rustling the leaves of the trees.

As we improve the block we will post updates of the progress and also of the problems that we will, no doubt, encounter on the way.  After all we are two middle aged city dwellers, with a dream, we’re just asking for a myriad of problems?
